UnityPoint Health - Fort Dodge announced three providers have received the UHC MA Hero Award (United Hero Award), as given by UnitedHealthcare.
They are:
• Shannon Fecher, advanced registered nurse practitioner, UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine - Second Avenue North
• Dr. Dustin Smith, UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine - Eagle Grove
• Dr. Aaron Peimann, UnityPoint Clinic Kenyon Road - Family Medicine
Providers receive the United Hero Award for high patient experience scores on surveys sent to UnitedHealthcare patients. The overall patient experience score includes results from three categories: getting needed care, care coordination, and doctor/patient conversations.
With multiple questions in each of these categories, Fecher, Smith and Peimann all received exceptionally high scores, as rated by their patients.
