Dr. Angela McGregor joins Community and Family Resources team

Dr. Angela McGregor will join the staff of Community and Family Resources on Monday as a fulltime psychiatric provider at the outpatient clinic located at 211 Ave M. West in Fort Dodge.

She is certified in psychiatry and family practice. McGregor graduated from the University of Iowa with her doctor of nursing degree in 2011 and her family nurse practitioner in 2004. She has worked in family practice, psych, ER, internal medicine, urgent care, and as a hospitalist. She most recently spent time providing care at Community Health Center in Fort Dodge.

“I am excited to join CFR fulltime as I will be able to provide family practice and psychiatric care,” said McGregor.

In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has a husband of 33 years, a son, daughter, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.

McGregor is currently welcoming patients from the community. She will be seeing patients in Fort Dodge Monday through Wednesday 8 a.m. -4:30 p.m. and Boone patients via tele-psych on Thursday 8 a.m – 4:30 p.m. Individuals may contact the Fort Dodge office at 515-576-7261 to schedule an appointment.

Community and Family Resources offers substance use, mental health, and problem gambling treatment and prevention services. CFR serves 14 counties across Iowa: Boone, Calhoun, Cedar, Hamilton, Humboldt, Iowa, Johnson, Pocahontas, Polk, Story, Warren, Washington, Webster, and Wright counties. In Fiscal Year 2022, CFR provided treatment services to 2,650 individuals and offered prevention services to schools, businesses, and community groups, reaching over 3,600 individuals.
