She was nominated by two UnityPoint at Home team members: Jennifer Kirchhoff, patient care coordinator, and Julie Samuelson, home care administrator.

“Sam goes above and beyond every single day,” said Kirchhoff. “She is extremely knowledgeable in what she does and gets things accomplished in a very timely fashion. Sam never complains, is always available when needed, and really is a shining star within our organization.”

McClintock is willing to help out wherever and whenever to provide patient care and help the team. Not only does she help out at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home on the weekends, but she’s assisted with hospice social worker needs during vacancies.

“She does it all with a smile,” said Samuelson. “Sam has been recognized multiple times by nurses, community partners and hospital staff for her communication and the care she gives patients.”

McClintock is on several committees as a representative for social workers and UnityPoint at Home. She has been part of the team for 3.5 years.
