Katie Riehl

Katie Riehl joined Community Health Center of Fort Dodge in January. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner she sees children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. She has been a nurse for 11 years and has worked in a variety of areas like the emergency department, obstetrics, medical surgical, mental health and has been a transitional health nurse.

She began her education at Iowa Central Community College, obtaining her associate degree in 2011 followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois, in 2017. She completed her master’s degree in psychiatric mental health from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 2022.

Riehl grew up in Nebraska and moved to Iowa about 20 years ago. She enjoys spending time reading books, playing darts and, of course, with her husband and four children.
