Dawn Klepsteen

Friendship Haven has announced that Dawn Klepsteen has been promoted to clinical coordinator of Journeys. She grew up in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She then attended Iowa Central Community College where she received her degree in nursing. Early in her career she worked in nursing homes and doctors’ offices around the community. Prior to her role at Friendship Haven, she traveled doing home care visits for Unity Point at Home. Klepsteen started her career with Friendship Haven March 2022 as the clinical nurse lead in Journeys. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt Klepsteen, and their five children and grandson. She loves to travel, be outdoors, and ride motorcycles.
