WEBSTER CITY — Joel Warland has been named senior vice president/lending at WCF Financial Bank.

He began his duties March 7 and works out of the main office in Webster City.

He is a native of Fort Dodge who now lives in Eagle Grove. He has more than 30 years of bank lending experience.

Warland has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He earned a master’s of business administration in accounting and finance from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.

He has volunteered with the Clarion Economic Development Committee, the American Red Cross and Pheasants Forever.
