Casey’s starts 16 campaign for Special Olympics Iowa

Casey’s General Stores has begun a giving campaign to support Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners across its 16-state footprint.

From March 31 to April 15, Casey’s guests can round up their purchases to provide funding for the Special Olympics athletic, health, school and leadership programs that positively impact the lives of thousands of athletes and Unified partners each year.

“Casey’s is proud to support Special Olympics Iowa through this campaign and encourage our guests to stop in and round up their purchase to support these outstanding athletes,” said Katie Petru, director of community at Casey’s.

“Special Olympics Iowa is thrilled to be partnering with long-time statewide partner Casey’s for this 16-day round up campaign. This campaign will help Special Olympics Iowa to continue reaching new individuals with our programming and gives our athletes an opportunity to see the support their community and Casey’s has for them,” said John Kliegl, Special Olympics Iowa CEO and president. “Thank you to Casey’s and their guests for the unwavering support you are showing Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners.”

In 2019, Casey’s General Stores, in partnership with Coca-Cola, raised over $2.2 million for Special Olympics.
