Hovey hired as ABE at Iowa Central

Kristen Hovey has joined the staff at Iowa Central as an adult basic education teacher.

Hovey is from Webster City. She is a graduate of Webster City High School. Hovey attended Iowa Central and Buena Vista University.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in secondary education with minors in psychology and political science.

Prior to Iowa Central, Hovey worked for 20 years as a probation/parole officer with the Department of Correctional Services. She was also a director at Wings of Refuge, where she worked with human trafficking survivors.
