Austin Salgren joins Flannery Tax & Bookkeeping

Flannery Tax & Bookkeeping owners Wayne and Kathy Salgren are happy to welcome their son, Austin Salgren, to the family business.

Austin Salgren joins his parents and his grandmother, Marge Flannery, in the business that Larry started in 1974.

Austin Salgren is a recent graduate from the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University with a degree in supply chain management. He has been assisting in the business since he was a child – which consisted of shredding papers and licking envelopes.

Over the years, his responsibilities have increased to include computer system setup, filing, and general IT. Austin Salgren is now assuming more of the namesake workload, tax preparation and small business bookkeeping while continuing the tasks of shredding and licking envelopes. He hopes to expand on the services he can offer in the future, which includes becoming certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, alongside his father Wayne, to assist clients with their small business accounting needs.
