Tim Burns was recently elected chair of the Friendship Haven Board of Directors. Burns is currently chief investment officer with Decker Truck Line, Inc. He has been with Decker since 1991.

Burns has been a member of the Friendship Haven Board since 2016, most recently serving as secretary. Burns currently represents Decker on the board of the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance. He has previously served on the boards of Community Foundation and United Way, Unity Point Foundation and Iowa Central Foundation. He and his wife, Kris, have lived in Fort Dodge for over 20 years.
