Nelson, Salocker Join LifeWorks Board

Cameron Nelson and Rick Salocker have joined the LifeWorks Charitable Foundation Board of Directors.

As Board members, they will provide oversight to LifeWorks’ paid leadership as they fulfill the organization’s mission.

The mission of the LifeWorks Charitable Foundation is to provide financial support to LifeWorks Community Services in its work with individuals with disabilities. LifeWorks Community Services opportunities for growth and achievement to persons with disabilities who face barriers to independence and integration in employment and daily living.

Nelson is the commercial sales and fleet manager for Shimkat Motor Co. He is on the Leadership Fort Dodge Steering Committee, on the Fort Dodge Young Professionals Board, the president of the Fort Dodge Noon Rotary Club, a member of the Pleasant Valley Awareness Committee, a board member for Stage Door Productions and a school mentor.

Nelson graduated from Saint Edmond High School and from Iowa Central Community College.

Salocker is a retired podiatrist. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the director of the Holy Trinity Parish Food Pantry, and a deacon for the Holy Trinity Parish. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Dakota, and his Doctorate in Podiatry from Rosalind Franklin University.
