Sharon Hotz has been promoted to senior lender, executive vice president for the North Central Iowa region of Northwest Bank.

Her responsibilities include supervision and production of all agricultural lending, small business, commercial and construction real estate in the North Central Iowa region, which includes Fort Dodge, Humboldt, Algona and Ames.

“We are extremely pleased that Sharon has accepted the Senior Lender position,” said Dave Ward, chief credit officer Northwest Financial Corp. “Her experiences have prepared her very well for this role and her extensive knowledge of credit and lending practices will serve our customers and organization well.”

Hotz graduated from the Buena Vista University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is a 2016 graduate of Graduate School of Banking, Madison, Wisconsin. Hotz has been with Northwest Bank for nearly 11 years and most recently was business banking manager for the Fort Dodge region.

“I look forward to the opportunity to serve as the senior lender,” Hotz said. “I feel my skills and experiences will be a great addition to this role. I have had great mentors over the years and appreciate the opportunity to grow personally and professionally within our organization.”
