Travis Filloon has accepted the position of director of buildings and grounds at the Marian Home & Village after being hired in January.

Filloon is a Fort Dodge native. He is a Fort Dodge Senior High and Iowa Central Community College graduate.

Filloon’s 40-plus years of experience includes building construction, extensive hands-on building maintenance and serving in various management roles.

Most recently, he served as director of buildings and grounds for the Fort Dodge Community School District.

Filloon’s credentials include holding numerous certifications and membership affiliations in the fields of building maintenance/energy management.

Filloon said he plans to enhance the current facilities maintenance efforts with an emphasis on improved comfort and quality of life for residents and staff while ensuring life and safety systems requirements are met.
