Modern Sound Engineering, of Fort Dodge, was recently presented with the Patriot Employer award for its support of Sgt. Russell McCarty, of the U.S. Army Reserve, and his family.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve presented the award to joint SME owners Kyle Miller and Chad Nieland.

Russell is a member of USAR 445th Trans Co., Fort Dodge. His wife Rachael is employed by MSE at 1103 Third Ave. NW.

Rachael McCarty submitted her employer for the award.
