The Webster County Family Planning Clinic, 110 N 12th St. in Fort Dodge, is one of the Iowa health care clinics to be named an approved PrEP provider.

PrEP, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV, is one pill taken once a day to aid in preventing the HIV infection from taking hold if a person is exposed to the virus.

The Webster County Family Planning Clinic is the only approved PrEP provider in Webster County. The clinic is one of 35 approved clinics in Iowa.

The Webster County Family Planning Clinic serves residents in Webster, Hamilton, Humboldt and Wright counties.
