SAC CITY — Jim Beck, of UnityPoint Health — Fort Dodge, will serve as interim CEO at Loring Hospital in Sac City.

Brian Martin recently resigned as Loring CEO.

Beck will serve the hospital until a replacement for Martin his hired.

Beck previously served as interim CEO at Loring in 2004 and again from 2013 to 2015.

Through a management agreement, the Loring Board and UnityPoint Health will immediately begin the process of sourcing candidates for the position.

The hospital hopes to name a new CEO in the next few months.

Stacy Johnson, Loring chief financial officer, and Rebecca Vosberg, Loring chief clinical officer, have agreed to serve in a co-leadership role to provide onsite daily support while Beck serves as interim CEO.
