Marlys Lane, Friendship Haven’s director of dinning services was awarded the Support and Service Professional of the Year by LeadingAge Iowa. This award was given to Lane because of her commitment to excellence, superior care to her staff and residents and creating processes that are not only being used at Friendship Haven, but other retirement communities around the state of Iowa.

Lane began her career with Friendship Haven on September 6, 1984. She is well-known and highly regarded in her field, serving by her compassionate example.
