Darci Mersch, of Clare, is this area’s newest Court Appointed Special Advocate. She was sworn in June 16 by the Honorable Judge Adria Kester and joins other volunteers for the Iowa Child Advocacy Board, which provides oversight and training for the CASA program. As a CASA,

Mersch will advocate for abused and neglected children in Webster and surrounding counties and serve as their voice in court.

Mersch has a degree in human services and currently works for the Fort Dodge school system.
