Rachael Cook, of Fort Dodge, joined the First State Bank staff in Fort Dodge as a home loan originator/ consumer lender in June. Cook is a graduate of Manson Northwest Webster High School. Prior to her employment with First State Bank, she was the general manager at the JCPenny store in Fort Dodge and also worked prior to that as store manager for OfficeMax in Fort Dodge for 14 years.

First State Bank is a locally owned financial institution organized in 1935 in Webster City, Iowa with other office locations in Humboldt, Eagle Grove, Fort Dodge, Clarion, and Stanhope.
