John Dodgen sells Dodgen Industries
HUMBOLDT – After 67 years in business, John N. Dodgen, of Humboldt, has sold the assets of Dodgen Industries, including Born Free Motorcoach, to HBF Investments LLC. Dodgen will retain the real estate and continue to lease it to Born Free under its new ownership.
John Dodgen and his brothers, Joe Dodgen and Jack Dodgen, started Dodgen Industries in 1947 after their service in World War II. In 1950, their father C.W. Dodgen joined Dodgen Industries as its fourth partner.
Jeff Butler, Born Free’s new president has 30 years of experience in the RV industry, most recently as director of engineering for Dynamax.
