CENTER POINT - Whitney Kickbush and Joshua Zinnel, both of Center Point, are engaged.Parents of the couple are Deb and Phil Vaughan, and Dave Kickbush, of Guttenberg; Scott and Annette Zinnel, of Farnhamville.An Oct. 22 wedding is planned.Kickbush graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2015 with a bachelors of liberal arts. She works at Veridian Credit Union.Zinnel graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014 with a masters in actuarial science. He works at Transamerica.

CLARE - Stacia Allen and Eric Peters, both of Des Moines, are engaged.Parents of the couple are Richard and Kathleen Allen, of Clare; and Michael and Diane Peters, of Des Moines.A March 25 wedding is planned.Allen is an operations specialist with Express Logistics in Waukee. Peters is an HR generalist with Bemis Company in Des Moines.
