Marita English and Donald Schmidt

Marita English and Donald Schmidt, both of Fort Dodge, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Jim and Susan English, of Clare, and the late Kenneth and Donna Schmidt, of Barnum.

An Aug. 17, 2019, wedding is planned.

English is a 1995 graduate of Saint Edmond High School and is an registered nurse in the Respiratory Care department at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Schmidt is a 1990 graduate of Barnum High School and is a shift supervisor in the mill at USG Corp.
