Randy and Elizabeth Jaekel

OCEANSIDE, Calif. — Elizabeth Becker and Randy Jaekel, both of Oceanside, California, were married Oct. 6, 2018, at Corpus Christi Church in Fort Dodge.

Parents of the couple are Bruce and Deb Becker, of Fort Dodge; Ron Jaekel, of Kansas City, Missouri; and Gary and Kristie Janssen of Missoula, Montana.

Matron of honor was Emily Crimmins, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jenny Becker and Serenity Banden. Best man was Brian Jaekel, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tim Anderson and Connor Moriarty.

Becker graduated from St. Edmond High School and from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, from Mercy College of Health Sciences with a bachelor’s in Nursing, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing. She is a traveling nurse.

Jaekel graduated from Columbia College with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and human resources management, and currently pursuing a master’s in strategic communications. He is a U.S. Marine.
