Parents of the couple are Steven and Ronica Poldervaart, of Fort Dodge, and the late David and Debra Bouge, of Burlington.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Hinton.

Best man was Garrett Beach.

Bridesmaids were Brittany Wiersma, Sheanelle Rose and Nicole Pellman.

Groomsmen were David “DJ” Bouge, Colin Duffy and Gabe Walsh.

Flower girl was Charlotte Smith. Ringbearers were Brantley Smith and Benjamin Haines.

The bride graduated from Iowa Central Community College in 2015 with a paramedic degree. She is employed as a paramedic at the Ottumwa Regional Medical Center.

The groom graduated from Iowa State University in 2015 with a double major in criminal justice and sociology. He is employed as a police officer for the city of West Burlington.

Following a honeymoon to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple lives in Mediapolis.
