Parents of the couple are Steve Gibson of Emmetsburg, Deb Gibson of QueenCreek, Arizona and Marc and Jill Matthes of Fort Dodge.

Maid of honor was Taylor Gibson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kristina Weber, Maile Leathem-Rietz, Maggie Remus and Molly Matthes, sister of the groom. Personal attendants were Ashton Pederson and Josey Saxton. Flower girl was Liza Saxton.

Best man was Nate Sunken. Groomsmen were Nick Anderson, Nick Moorehead, Will Gormally and Collin Cook. Ushers were Shea Springer and Aaron Hardcastle. Ring bearer was Brett Saxton.

The bride is a 2013 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and received a bachelor’s in Biology from Grinnell College in 2017 and a master’s in Public Health from The University of Iowa in 2018. She is employed at Child Serve in Iowa City and will be attending PA school next fall.

The groom is a 2012 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and received a bachelor’s in Math Education from The University of Northern Iowa in 2016. He is employed as a High School math teacher in Washington, Iowa.
