Megan Gibson and Nathan Matthes

Megan Gibson and Nathan Matthes, both of Fort Dodge, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Steve Gibson, of Humboldt, Deb Gibson of Queen Creek, Arizona and Marc and Jill Matthes, of Fort Dodge.

An Oct. 13, 2018, wedding is planned.

Gibson is a 2013 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Grinnell College in 2017 and a master’s in Public Health from the University of Iowa in 2018. She is employed at Child Serve in Iowa City and will be attending PA school next fall.

Matthes is a 2012 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and received a bachelor’s in Math Education from The University of Northern Iowa in 2016. He is employed as a High School math teacher in Washington, Iowa.
