Dylan Bouge and Emily Poldervaart

MEDIAPOLIS — Emily Poldervaart and Dylan Bouge, both of Mediapolis, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Steven and Ronica Poldervaart, of Fort Dodge, and David Bouge Sr., of Burlington, and the late Debra Bouge.

An Oct. 6, 2018, wedding is planned.

Poldervaart graduated from Iowa Central Community College in 2015 with a paramedic degree. She is a paramedic at the Ottumwa Regional Medical Center.

Bouge graduated from Iowa State University in 2015 with a double major in criminal justice and sociology. He is a police officer for the city of West Burlington.
