Andrew and Carissa Samuelson

MAXWELL — Carissa Jean Steinkamp and Andrew Joseph Samuelson of Maxwell, were married on Oct. 28, 2017, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Arcadia.

Parents of the couple are Robert and Julie Steinkamp, of Arcadia; Brenda and Randy Spencer, of Fort Dodge; and Eric and Kristy Samuelson, of Fort Dodge.

Maid of honor was Corynn Steinkamp, sister of the bride, of Arcadia. Bridesmaids were Rachel Steinkamp, of Arcadia, sister of the bride,; Desirea Spencer, of Fort Dodge, sister of the groom; Ashley Wilson, of Carroll; and April Sturges, of Sioux City.

Best man was Nick McLaughlin, of Ankeny. Groomsmen were Jordan Samuelson, of Tacoma, Washington, brother of the groom; Lucas Samuelson, of Fort Dodge, brother of the groom; Nick Irlbeck, of Arcadia; and Jeff Sturges, of Sioux City.

Flower girl was Maci Wilson, of Carroll. The ring bearer was Clayton Irlbeck, of Arcadia, nephew of the bride.

Ushers were Michael Wilson, of Carroll, and Brandon Spencer, of Johnston, stepbrother of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of Kuemper High School and Iowa Central Community College. She works at Wholesome Pet Essentials in Ankeny.

The groom is a graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and Iowa Central Community College. He works at Nelson Electric.

After a wedding trip to South Dakota, the couple lives in Maxwell.
