Parents of the couple are Charles and Pamela Thomas, of Fort Dodge, and Ken and Janene Pollack, of West Des Moines.

A June 9 wedding is planned.

She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 2014. He graduated from Valley High School in West Des Moines in 2014.

Thomas is set to graduate in May from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Elementary Education and a Literacy Minor. Pollack is set to graduate in May from Wartburg College with a degree in Secondary History Education.

Both are currently student teaching in the Des Moines Metro area. They will move to Colorado after the wedding where they have secured teaching jobs.
