Courtney Vaughn and Bo Darrow, both of Newell, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Ted and Kim Vaughn, of Fort Dodge; and Randy and Tina Darrow, of Omaha, Nebraska.

An Aug. 11 wedding is planned.

Vaughn is a 2008 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Morningside College. She is a third grade teacher at Newell-Fonda Community School District.

Darrow is a 2009 graduate of Glenwood High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Buena Vista University. He is a middle school language arts teacher at Newell-Fonda Community School District.
