Matt Odland and Laura TerHark

CLARION — Laura TerHark and Matt Odland, both of Clarion, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Todd and Shelly TerHark, of Algona; and Dan and Lynne Odland, of Clarion.

A June 2 wedding is planned.

TerHark is a 2011 graduate of Algona High and a 2015 graduate of Upper Iowa University, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree. She is a second grade teacher at Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Elementary. She is pursuing a master’s degree for educational leadership through Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Odland is a 2013 graduate of Clarion-Goldfield and 2017 graduate of Iowa State University, where he received his bachelor of science degree in agricultural business and with a minor in agronomy. He is currently working as a district sales manager for AgriGold and working on the family farm.
