The bride earned her bachelor of arts degree in leisure youth and human services from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a recreation therapist for New Aldaya Lifescapes.

The groom earned his bachelor of arts degree in marketing from the University of Northern Iowa. He is a sales and marketing operations specialist for Agency Bloc, Inc.
