Kyle Larsen and Abigail Sparks

CLARE — Abigail Sparks, of Iowa City, and Kyle Larsen, of Clare, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Walter and Amy Sparks, of Iowa City; and Glen and Brenda Larsen of Clare.

A Sept. 23 wedding is planned.

Sparks graduated from West High School, Iowa City, in 2012 and from Iowa State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in food science. She is a production supervisor at Hormel Foods in Algona.

Larsen graduated from Humboldt High School in 2011 and from Iowa State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. He is the owner/manager of Larsen Premium Pork in Clare.
