Zachary Bruns and Brittany DeLanoit

Brittany DeLanoit, of Fort Dodge, and Zachary Bruns, of Pocahontas, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Thomas and Amy DeLanoit, of Fort Dodge; and Tom and Leann Powers, of Pocahontas.

An Aug. 12 wedding is planned.

DeLanoit is a 2012 graduate of St. Edmond High School and attended Iowa Central Community College. She is a certified pharmacy technician at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Pocahontas.

Bruns is a 2012 graduate of Pocahontas Area Community High School and a 2013 graduate of Iowa Central Community College. He is a welder at Jet Company in Humboldt.
