Jacquelyn Birnbaum and Ryan Lynn, both of Fort Dodge, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Christopher and Janell Birnbaum, of Fort Dodge; Barbara Lynn, of Vincent, and the late Richard Lynn.

An Aug. 12 wedding is planned.

Birnbaum earned her radiology degree from Iowa Central Community College. She is a CT tech for UnityPoint Health — Fort Dodge.

Lynn is studying sports management at Buena Vista University in Fort Dodge. He is a route trainer for Dr. Pepper-Snapple Group, Fort Dodge.
