Callie Beggerly, of Fort Dodge, and Christian Lopez, of North Liberty, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Dr. Clay and Kathy Beggerly, of Fort Dodge; and Jorge and Barb Lopez, of North Liberty.

A June 3 wedding is planned.

Beggerly is a graduate of University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is a human resource associate at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Christian is a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in computer software development at Kirkwood Community College.
