Kari Becker and Jake Malz

Kari Becker and Jake Malz, both of Madison Lake, Minnesota, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Brian and Darcy Becker, of Fort Dodge; and Randy and Marge Malz, of Farmington, Minnesota.

A July 28 wedding is planned.

Becker earned her bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Minnesota State University-Mankato. She is a third grade teacher for the Mankato Public School District and is working on her master’s degree in educational technology.

Malz earned his bachelor of science degree in elementary education and master’s in educational leadership from Minnesota State University-Mankato. He is a sixth grade math and science teacher at Saint Peter Public School District, Minnesota.
