WEST BEND — Maggie Schuttler and Michael Scherer, both of West Bend, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Dennis and Pam Schuttler, of Algona; Kevin and Kim Moulin, of Grimes, and the late Robert Scherer.

A Jan. 21, 2017, wedding is planned.

Schuttler is a graduate of Algona High School and Simpson College. She works at Northwest Communications in Havelock.

Scherer is a graduate of Dallas Center-Grimes and Wayne State College. He works for West Iowa Bank in West Bend.
