Chad Lyons and Hillary Hanson

GOWRIE — Hillary Hanson, of West Des Moines, and Chad Lyons, of Des Moines, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Dave and Ruth Hanson, of Gowrie; and Glenn and Holly Lyons, of Humboldt.

A May 6 wedding is planned.

Hanson is a graduate of Iowa State University where she earned a degree in agricultural studies. She is a marketing specialist at Praedium Ventures in Urbandale.

Lyons is a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College where he earned degrees in criminal justice and business administration. He is a home mortgage consultant at Wells Fargo in Des Moines.
