Megan Baker and Matthew Scherzberg

Megan Baker and Matthew Scherzberg, both of Aurora, Colorado, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Greg Baker and Diane Baker, both of Fort Dodge; and Martin and Connie Scherzberg of Papillion, Nebraska.

A Dec. 31 wedding is planned.

Baker is the assistant director of new student orientation at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Scherzberg is a construction representative for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
