SOMERS — Jordan Schreier and Ethan Achterhoff, both of Ames, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Kevin and Jenny Schreier, of Somers; and Kyle and Amy Achterhoff, of Sioux Center.

A Dec. 30 wedding is planned.

Both Schreier and Achterhoff attend Iowa State University. She is studying kinesiology and he is studying criminal justice.
