Sean and Kelsey Ostendorf

JEFFERSON — Kelsey Lynne Hood and Sean Michael Ostendorf, both of Jefferson, were married on Sept. 24 at River Valley Orchards and Winery in Humboldt.

Parents of the couple are Phil and Teresa Hood, of Clare; and Mike and Ann Ostendorf, of Jefferson.

Matron of honor was Katie Sevald, sister of the bride, of Ankeny.

Best man was Willie Scott, of Huxley.

Bridesmaids were Kirsten Rasch, of Des Moines; Kinsey O’Hern, of West Des Moines; Darcey Noyce, of West Des Moines; and Sara Ostendorf, of St. Louis, Missouri.

Groomsmen were Zac Hornung, of Cedar Rapids; Zach Cooper, of Cleveland, Ohio; Cory Sevald, of Ankeny; and Kenny Hood, of Denver, Colorado.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in social work and will begin pursuing her master’s degree in social work in January. She is employed by the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in leisure, youth, and human services. He is the assistant director at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson.

The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic.
