MANSON -- Everything has its season, and the Manson Meridian Singers are about to begin their 55th season of making music to share with the community.

Any and all who love to sing are welcome to join them as rehearsals begin this fall.

"This year's show is titled 'Everything Has Its Season,' and it will be a wonderful musical journey through the year," said Director Andrea Christians. "Singers can expect a variety of choral music that highlights the unique beauty and characteristics of each season. I envision the show being both evocative and musically engaging, and I'm really looking forward to working on these pieces with the group."

The first rehearsal will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday in the choir room at Manson Northwest Webster High School, 1601 15th St.

All parts -- soprano, alto, tenor and bass -- are welcome. No tryouts are required to join.

The singers meet weekly, with rehearsals running from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A complete schedule will be available at the first rehearsal.

"To anyone thinking about giving Meridians a try: please do," said Christians, who is in her fifth year as director. "We are a welcoming group, and we would love to have new voices join us as we start this new season. It's a great opportunity to make music and enjoy the company of others who love to sing."

This year's shows are set for Feb. 27 and Feb. 28, 2027, in the Kate Toben Auditorium at Manson Northwest Webster High School.
