All singers welcome to join Manson Meridians; rehearsals begin Oct. 3
MANSON — Do you love to sing and need an outlet to share your talent? Then grab a friend and come warm up your vocal chords with the Manson Meridian Singers as they begin their 53rd season.
Rehearsals will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in the choir room at Manson Northwest Webster High School, 1601 15th St. All parts — soprano, alto, tenor and bass — are welcome. No tryouts are required to join.
Andrea Christians, of Pocahontas, is in her third year as director, with Trish Mernka, of Rockwell City, serving as accompanist.
“This Meridian season will again be packed full of fun and familiar tunes — all from Broadway,” said Christians. “I’m looking forward to getting our amazing group of singers together again to make music during the winter months. Everyone who loves to sing is welcome!”
The singers meet weekly, with rehearsals running from 7 to 9 p.m. A complete schedule will be available at the first rehearsal.
This year’s show is set for March 1 and 2, 2025, in the Manson Northwest Webster Kate Toben Auditorium.
