Sports Park Raceway by Otho will be the site of a traditional fireworks display again this year.
The fireworks will be booming over the race track on the night of July 1.
Jeff Frevert, the owner of the track, said the fireworks will be launched when it gets dark, but they might be launched a little bit later if the evening’s races are not done by the time the sun goes down.
He said people will be admitted into the track at 2298 S. River Road for free beginning at 8 p.m.
“If you are in the stands, it is an excellent view,” he said.
For racing fans, that day’s races will begin at 7 p.m. There will be five classes of cars racing.
