The Fort Dodge Public Library book club is meeting on Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the library, 424 Central Ave. We will be discussing the book, “First Lie Wins,” by Ashley Elston. The Fort Dodge Public Library will host Lessons of the Holocaust, a presentation by educator Brad Wilkening, on Dec. 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend. The St. Edmond craft and vendor show is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 6, at St. Edmond High School, 2220 Fourth Ave. N. There will be over 100 vendors and handmade crafters from all over the state of Iowa showcasing an array of items including baked goods, candies, holiday decor, boutiques, antiques and clothing. Door prizes, pictures with Santa and gift wrapping will be available. A full concession stand serving breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks will be open. There will also be a bake sale and hot chocolate bar. Admission is $5.
