WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library is offering a public screening of the movie “Free for All: The Public Library” at 2 p.m. on Feb. 21 in the meeting room. WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will hold a variety of teen events throughout February. Teen Lounge — Patrons in sixth through 12th grades are invited each Tuesday in February from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more. Adult Daytime Book Club — Kendall Young Library invites you to join in the February Book Club discussion on “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot. CCS athletic department pancake breakfast is today

Community Christian School Athletic Department is holding a Pancake Breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. today in the school gym, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S. The menu is all you can eat pancakes, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children ages 3 to 10. Proceeds go to the CCS athletic department.

Adult Winter Reading Challenge at the Fort Dodge Public Library

The Fort Dodge Public Library is having an Adult Winter Reading Challenge this year. The challenge runs through Feb. 28. Pick up reading logs at the library and turn them in for a chance to win weekly prize drawings from Dariette/Ardys Mae Coffee and Dessert, Stella’s Coffee Bar, and Bloomers Coffee.
