Kendall Young Library holds adult programs in May

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will hold Adult Programs throughout the month of May. Books & Bourbon Silent Book Club — Kendall Young Library will host a Silent Book Club at Seneca Street Saloon, 919 Seneca St. This will be our last meet up before fall. WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be having a variety of teen events throughout May. Teen Lounge — Patrons in sixth through 12th grades are invited from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays. Teen Lounge will happen on Tuesday and May 26. Join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more. KYL to hold children’s activities

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library Children’s Department will hold a variety of events in May. Weekly Programs LEGO Build (Children’s Department) — Each Monday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. throughout May (except for Memorial Day) there is the opportunity for kids to test their building skills. Each week will have a building theme or you can use your imagination for your creation. We have a variety of Legos, so the possibilities are endless. Adult coloring at Fort Dodge Public Library

Celebrate May and all its sunshiny goodness with adult coloring at FDPL. Join us for our next sessions on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the large meeting room and again from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the lobby conference room. We provide hundreds of coloring sheets and a variety of supplies for you to use. Coloring enthusiasts are also welcome to bring their own materials and projects to enjoy a relaxing, creative atmosphere with others. CDA to meet Thursday

The Catholic Daughters Court 216 meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, at the Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St. Mass will be held at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and a speaker. CDA Sister Angela Croonquist will talk about her small business in superfoods, including Spring Creek Honey and fresh microgreens. There will also be a CDA business meeting.
