KYL announces fall programs

Kendall Young Library will offer exciting programs for all ages coming this fall. Fall programming will begin Aug. 28.

Children's Programs

Mondays, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. -- Children's Mini Makerspace (families invited)

Tuesdays, 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. -- Wild Things (TK to second grade)

Wednesdays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. -- Fuzzy Ducklings (Under 3 years)

Thursdays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. -- Hungry Caterpillars (3 and 4 year preschool)

Thursdays, 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. -- Tweens (third through fifth grades)

Fridays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. -- Cookies, Scoops, & Books (families invited)

Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- Saturday Drop-in Activities (families invited)

Teen Programs

Tuesdays, 3:30 to 5 p.m. -- Teen Lounge (sixth through 12th grades)

Always available -- Lego build, games, craft/homework supply cart, Switch

Homeschool Program

Third Thursday each month, 1 to 3 p.m. -- Homeschool Tech Lab (second through 12th grades and families)

Adult Programs

First Friday each month -- Spice of the Month Club is available

Second Tuesday each month -- Daytime Book Club, 1:30 to -2:30 p.m.

Second Wednesday each month -- Evening Book Club, 6 to 7 p.m.

Third Thursday each month -- Silent Book Club, 5 to 6:30 p.m. (*Location TBD)

Fourth Tuesday each month -- Adult DIY, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Fourth Thursday each month -- Fiber Arts Hangout, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Watch for a variety of special events that will be happening throughout the fall. They will include great progras like adult bingo, a puzzle contest, mahjong workshop, wreath making, orphan train presentation, and the fall book sale.
