KYL to hold teen events

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will host variety of Teen events throughout March.

Spring Break Crafternoons — During the week of spring break in Webster City, March 9 though 13, patrons are invited to stop in and relax with some crafting. Spring Break Crafternoons will be available all week, all day on your schedule. Stop in for some mini diamond painting, clay snowmen building, or just some comfy coloring.

Teen Lounge — Patrons in sixth through 12th grades are invited from 3:30 to 5 p.m. each Tuesday in March. Due to early outs and spring break, Teen Lounge will also happen March 17, 24, and 31.

Join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more. This time and place is perfect to hang out with friends and is a come-and-go style event.

Homeschool TECH BUILD — Students will have time to create Geared Flag Waver. From 1 to 3 p.m., on March 19, patrons will have the opportunity to build and personalize their contraption using supplies from the STEM Cart. This is designed for youths in second through 12th grades and will be held each month in the Teen Area. Parent participation is encouraged.

As always, every day the Teen area located in the Kendall Young Library offers a variety of crafts, board games, community Lego build, Chromebooks, video games, books, and STEM Cart activities that are always available. Stop in for the fun.
